The Restaurant la Bocona is a traditional restaurant that offers regional specialties.
Since Christmas 2010, La Bocona was taken over by Gregory Personnaz, a young countryman with a passion for the mountains and rural life in Haute-Maurienne. By its sense of hospitality and desire to share the environment that has seen and made him grow, Gregory will strive to make you live a pleasant and sincere time.
Why " La Bocona ? " :
This is an expression of everyday patois bessans taken from the hamlet of Vincendières (Avérole Valley).
At the time of eating, we often heard people say at the end of their labor: " Zalègue méngé la bocona ?? "
Everyone understood that the men had big appetite and would not leave the table before being filled. Thus, the name "La Bocona" has established itself as we make a point of honor to serve hearty dishes.
